DIRECTIONS TO MOCHABA CROSSING

(Coordinates: 19°46'54.6"S 23°38'40.2"E)

From Kasane to Mochaba Crossing (approx. 608km)

Depart from Kasane head southeast on Chilwero Road toward Plateau Road. Follow the A33 to Nata and then turn onto the A3 to Maun.

Pass through Maun on the A3, at the Matlapaneng Circle go straight and approx. 30km outside of Maun towards Shorobe you turn left to Mochaba Crossing, you will see a sign on the road.

From Khwai to Mochaba Crossing

Route 1 -via Mababe Village (approx. 124km) 

• Leave Khwai on the main road and cross the white concrete bridge
• Stay on the gravel for 33.6km
• In Mababe Village keep right go over the metal bridge - after Mababe Village make sure you don't cross water - there is a detour to the left around the water
• Carry on for 59.8km - when the road splits keep to the left
• Carry on for 50.63km to Shorobe 
• Go through Shorobe and join the tar road - after 3km you will see a sigh Mochaba Crossing and turn right. 
• 300m off the main road you reach Mochaba Crossing

Route 2 – via Moremi (approx. 156km)

• Drive on the main road in Khwai to Moremi North Gate - enter the park
• Drive for 30km through the park to South Gate
• Leave the park at South Gate and carry on for 36km
• Keep right and join the main road to Maun
• Carry on for 50.63km to Shorobe 
• Go through Shorobe and join the tar road - after 3km you will see a sigh Mochaba Crossing and turn right. 
• 300m off the main road you reach Mochaba Crossing
